ME series on BBC Radio starts Friday, November 2

You & Yours (Mon – Fri 12.00 – 13.00) and Case Notes (Tues 21.00 – 21.30, repeat Wed 16.30 – 17.00)

A week of programmes on the condition ME starts today on Radio 4.

On Fri 2nd Nov we hear from film producer David Puttnam. On Monday 5th Nov You & Yours examines the reasons behind ME’s controversy. On Tuesday’s Case Notes DR Mark Porter looks at services for young people. On Wednesday’s You & Yours we investigate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It is one of the most common treatments on the NHS but how effective is it? On Thursday’s You & Yours we assess some of the alternative treatments. On Friday we hear from 70’s blockbuster novelist Shirley Conran on how she copes with ME.

On Monday 12th Nov we look at the latest research into ME and whether there are any obstacles to getting funding.
