APPG on ME inquiry details for evidence sessions, 9 and 16 July

Update @ 9.30 am 7 July

I have spoken to the Parliamentary Events Team office this morning (who handle the bookings) and they have confirmed that the venue for this Thursday’s oral evidence session has been booked for HoC Committee Room 8 and that the venue for the oral evidence  session on 16 July has been booked for Committee Room 18 (which accords with Dr Turner’s Brighton Constituency Office and with the most recent notice on the APPG on ME website).

I am agitating for an agenda for the meeting on Thursday or at the very least, a list of those invited to provide oral evidence but I am advised that as things stood, yesterday, the list was still being finalised.

Update @ 6 July: The following notice has now been placed on the APPG on ME inquiry website.

Note that earlier today I was told by Dr Turner’s Constituency Office that the venue for Thursday’s session is House of Commons Committee Room 8 and this accords with the information subsequently posted on the APPG on ME inquiry website.  However, it has been brought to my attention that those receiving invitations to attend were told that the venue for Thursday’s session is Room 18 (which is on a different floor).  I will endeavour to have the Committee Room for Thursday’s meeting confirmed by the Office of the Parliamentary Sergeant at Arms or Events Team, first thing tomorrow morning.
