Tuesday’s You and Yours ME strand

Today’s You and Yours ME strand can be heard again on the R4 site, via Listen Again and Podcast, later this afternoon.

Today’s coverage included contributions from ME sufferer, Zoe Williams and Zoe’s mum;  ME sufferer, Angelle (sp?) Parsons; ME sufferer and AfME Trustee, Ondine Upton; former NHS specialist, now Harley Street consultant, Dr William Weir and Professor Peter Denton White (Barts CF Unit, Principal Investigator for the PACE Trials).  Incidental music by Belle and Sebastian, a member of whom is a former ME sufferer.

Case Notes

This evening’s Case Notes with Dr Mark Porter at 9.00pm (repeated Wednesday at 4.30pm) features Dr Esther Crawley who will be discussing ME in teenagers.  Dr Crawley heads a CFS clinic in Bath for children and young people and was a member of the NICE Guideline Development Group; Dr Esther Crawley, a consultant paediatrician at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in the city centre, now chairs the National Collaborative of Clinicians for CFS/ME.
